Maria Pasenau

MARIA PASENAU
PHOTOGRAPHER
CITY OF RESIDENCE:  OSLO, NORWAY

"I would not be on this planet if I did not have my photography, drawings and sculpture work, that’s the thing that drives me."

Maria Pasenau is one of Norway’s freshest new talents in the world of photography. Her interpretation of youth, culture and relationships is unique, raw and unpolished, whilst the messages are honest and heavily loaded with personality. Pasenau has established herself as one to watch in the Oslo-scene, despite her young age. She was just nominated for Årets Kunstner at Subjektprisen 2018.

MP: It’s an everyday relationship, I love fashion, I always have and always will!

COL: What is the best and worst thing about being an artist?

MP: Being broke is the most unpractical, the best is that I can work 24/7 anywhere in the world.
