After graduating from Central Saint Martins with a first-class honours degree in 2008, Charlotte Wales became intrigued by the energy and pace of the fashion world, embracing the opportunity to create work that, whilst still thoughtful, enabled a more playful approach. Wales’ light-hearted and ethereal images make use of careful lighting and deeply considered composition which push the design of the clothes to the forefront. She has produced stunning editorials for Dazed, such as her renaissance-inspired, pastel-coloured “Cloud Nymph” shoot for Dazed Spring/Summer 2016. Her burgeoning commercial career, in a dual photographer and director role, includes collaborations with brands such as Chloe, Celine, Chanel, Christian Dior and Louis Vuitton.
